Valtteri Bottas thinks that disappointment and regret will make him stronger.
Fin pilot, the checkered flag in Baku, went to see the checkered flag in the first place, passing over a piece that had broken off from the cars and had to say goodbye to both the victory and the race by blowing up the tires.
Bottas, who is experiencing a great disappointment because of the living, said he would not allow it to affect him negatively, but instead he would do anything to return to stronger strength.
Speaking on Saturday in Italy, Bottas said, "Of course it was a disappointment, but you will always be disappointed in life and especially in motorsports."
"I always believe that if you choose the right path, a frustration that you will live will make you stronger, so I hope to be stronger next weekend and the rest of the year."
Although Mercedes seems to be trying to catch Ferrari at this point, the small details, according to Bottas, can make a big difference in the progress they make.
"This is Formula 1. Competition is always there, and if the rules are almost the same, then it will definitely be closer, there are three big teams we expect to be close to each other."
"What we have to do is continue to focus on detail and continue to learn from small things or fine details if we bring in 0.1 seconds, and if we can find these things on a regular basis, we will be able to find us in all areas, especially in areas where we are weak.
Bottas thinks that if the team works together to advance, the conditions for winning more will increase.
"If we want to reach the summit, what do we need to do? I think it is a team work, we should continue to work as a team, we have to do it as always because we can do more with the team alone."
