Toro Rosso's Brendon Hartley and Pierre Gasly are hoping to be stronger in Bahrain after the bad race in Australia.

After a good performance in the tests, the pair went to Australia hopefully and did not do very well in the qualifying rounds, and was the first to win.

Pierre Gasly was out of the race in the first round, while the race was bad for both pilots. Brendon Hartley dropped to the back after the early pit stop and was the last of 15 pilots.

Hartley says he knows the Sakhir runway from the WEC and hopes the race will go well for him.

"I have very good memories of the track in Bahrain, where I won the LMP1 championship with Mark Webber and Timo Bernhard in 2015. It's great to be back there now."

"I can not tell you that this is the best track in my life, but I can say it is one of the most familiar tracks."

"We did not earn points in Melbourne, but there were some positive moments, I hope the runway in Bahrain will fit my car, and our goal is the same, getting our first score."

Gasly is looking forward to fighting the race.

"I got pole position in GP2 in Bahrain in 2015, I love this track, I will use Formula 1 for the first time, but I have no worries."

"Usually the weather is hot in Bahrain, but Formula 1 is going to be the evening, it's a new thing, and we'll see how it all goes, not my favorite piste, but I'm looking forward to the race."
