Although Renault has made good progress on the motor side in recent years, it has not yet achieved the desired performance.

Focusing on reliability in general this year, the French manufacturer has announced that all teams that offer engines in the first two races must compete with lower engine power.

These two races were better than expected and Renault allowed all teams to use more power at the Chinese Grand Prix and as a result the Renault motorized Red Bull achieved a score of five out of six names using the French manufacturer's engine. In addition, three of the first five teams in the team's championship are using Renault engines.

Despite all these positive results, Renault does not have the same engine mode as the Mercedes or Ferrari, especially in the qualifying rounds. This leads to the start of the race.

Asked what new updates Renault is starting to use, Abiteboul said, "This is something that enhances the overall performance of the engine, but this performance increase is only in the qualifying rounds."

"Everyone is talking about a sort mode, yes, we have a special mod, but not as good as other producers."

"But I have to say that there are things going on and things to come in. There is already something that should happen when you want to come to the same level as other producers."

"How much performance does it give us? 0.1 second? I guess it's over 0.1 seconds, you can see it at the highest speed already." said.

Speaking of two updates, Abiteboul said, "This is going to be more of a ranking, we expect the next engine parts for this update."

"We will not be able to use it until we get to a new unit, I hope it's as late as possible because we can only use three engines." said.
