McLaren's manager, Zak Brown, admits that Honda has done a great job with Toro Rosso.
Honda has had a lot of problems in pre-season tests with McLaren in the last three years, and with Toro Rosso this year it was the team that made the most lap times.
On the second day of the second test, the Japanese manufacturer, who scored 119 laps with Brendon Hartley, finished third fastest behind Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes.
McLaren was one of the most troubled teams in the last 6 days.
Zak Brown said they were in the process of finding the "disease" of the car, and spoke of Honda's praise.
"I think we are in the process of finding the 'childhood diseases' of the new vehicle, and it is natural that there will be problems in such a process, and all the problems we have are insignificant.
"We know what's causing the problems, it's a very important thing, we can solve them easily, of course we want to take more tours, but we do not believe that we have a problem vehicle, so we have no worries."
"There's a lot of questions about Honda and it's not really the right time to make comparisons, it's really too early to do that."
"Eric and our entire team are just focused on our own schedule and we believe we will have a good season."
"Honda is doing a good job, we already know they have a great company, it's only a matter of time to see what they have developed, they have a good test and it's good for them."
