Valtteri Bottas says the car is constantly improving after four days of testing.
Bottas ran out on the track in the morning of the fourth day of the Barcelona test and took a total of 60 laps and ranks 12th with 1:22,789.
Speaking after the test, Bottas voiced that the team is making progress and that the situation is satisfactory.
"We started on a wet track on Thursday, first using rain, then using the transition tires, it was a useful part for us."
"I guess I threw more than 30 laps with the intermediate tires, I could feel the speed of the track accelerating every time I got in. I have some ideas about the transition tires and the temperature of the tires, which can work for us in the long run."
"The track is dry, I've never been to dry slick tires, and it's a very useful strategy for the team, and the same is true for me: I tried to catch the roadblock with dry slick tires, and I learned a lot about the car while doing it."
"We did not aim for 60 laps and we were able to do it." Maybe it would be nice if we could do more laps with dry slick tires, but we did the best with those conditions. "
"Everyone at the Brackley and Brixworth factories did a great job, the car was developed from day to day, all the parts in the car started to work better, and my car is running smoothly." said.
Fin pilot said he now feels better in the team.
"The pressure on me is lower, I left behind a year with Lewis, and I know the team, I can make a handball and win pole positions and races."
"Last year there were things I had to learn about the team and now I'm just focusing on my performance.
"My goal is very high and I do not feel any pressure, and if I get to this goal, I know I can stay in the team."
